Planning Your Day Is Everything!

A wedding is one of the most important days of our lives. There's nothing more magical or miraculous than two people joining their lives together. Amid all these beautiful emotions, spending the day stressed about getting somewhere on time, afraid of being late, and caught up in chaos and commotion will make you remember this magical, miraculous day as stressful and rushed rather than as sweet, happy memories.

That's why we recommend that all our couples hold a planning meeting before their wedding day. Planning truly is everything. Before the wedding day, we want to plan where we'll be and at what time, what we'll photograph and where, what time we'll go to pick up the bride, and when we'll do the garden shoot and the venue shots.

In the meetings our couples have with us, we usually see that their time management isn't very good. Many things can go wrong during the bride pickup; as is the custom in Denizli and the Aegean region, the groom may be put through some playful "torture." Someone might be late, and because those people matter to you, you might postpone the pickup by an hour. Because of scenarios like these, we recommend leaving a half-hour buffer before and after hectic events like the bride pickup. When someone is late or doesn't show up, or the band or the imam is delayed, having half an hour to absorb it will give you real peace of mind.
